"Carry On" was written after my father passed away from cancer in July 2026. My father obviously taught me some things about life, and showed me how to live, what to do, and what not to do in life. He also taught me about music and how to play a few chords on the guitar when I first started playing. Later he used to joke when I would play guitar somewhere and would say "I taught him everything he knows". There's a line in the chorus of this song that says "I will carry on, everything you taught me". Thanks Dad, I miss you. The ending of this song is especially for you.
If you have ever lost a loved one I hope you carry on something from them that means something to you and I hope you can relate to this song.
